The focus of this review paper was to investigate innovations currently employed capture and use greenhouse gases produced within livestock farms for energy production expected future directions. methods considered data collection regarded a systematic the literature, where 50 journal articles were critically reviewed. main findings identified that conventional method used in transforming agriculture into regards combustion biogas. However, emerging encompass microbial fuel cells, dry biogas reforming, steam auto thermal Chemical Looping Reforming (CLRa), gas-to-liquid convert methane liquid hydrocarbons. conclusions from are there is potential integrate these order generate emissions reduce reliance on fossil fuels.
